How to Order & Shipping Info & Special Orders

Most fabrics shown are 44-45 inches wide. Some fabrics are 54" and 60" wide and will be stated in the item description. Pricing is per one yard length unless otherwise stated in the product description.

By placing an order with Material Girls Fabrics means you have agreed and accepted our polices. Please be sure to read our policies as stated below. All sales final. Closeout prices are not subject to Free Shipping. Free shipping is not applicable on sale prices. On-line sale prices are applicable only for sales placed through the check out shopping cart. Local orders placed on-line are subject to the handling fee when picked-up at the studio. On-line sale prices are NOT applicable to shopping in the studio.

Fabric is priced per yard with a one (1) yard minimum cut required. We have half yard cut bundles offered in the Half Yard Cuts section. Some fabrics with a Panel design are sold and priced by the Panel. These fabrics are noted in the description. Sale prices DO NOT APPLY TO LESS THAN ONE (1)YARD CUTS. No 1/4 yard requests can be accepted. Less than 1 yard cuts must be requested through email to kristina@materialgirlsfabrics.com and approved at the discretion of Material Girls Fabrics on rare occasions and will be priced at the full regular price.

Material Girls Fabrics accepts credit card numbers over the telephone. You may call Kristina at 325-617-4430 to place your order if you prefer to give your card number to a "real person." If we are unavailable, please leave a detailed message with the date and time of your call and your call will be returned after as soon as possible. You may fax your card number to *not available at this time*. This is also the answering machine which will divert to the fax machine once a fax is detected. Please allow for the message to finish and then the fax will pick up. PLEASE DO NOT USE A COVER PAGE. Send your fax on one page only with the following info:

Name as is on the card, Complete Billing Address for the card Credit Card Number Expiration Date Security Code on the back Your signature

If your shipping address is different than the billing address on the credit card, please state as such.

Your fax is received in a secured private area.

Payment is accepted securely on-line by PayPal with all major credit cards. You may pay for your order with a major credit card through the purple "CHECKOUT" button option if you do not have a PayPal log on. Signing up with PayPal through the "Checkout" is an OPTION, NOT a requirement. If you already have a PayPal log on, you will be prompted for the info in the "CHECKOUT" screen. If you enter a major credit card number, the order will be charged to your major credit card. If you already have a PayPal account, you may pay through the "CHECK OUT WITH the PAYPAL" logo button option and enter your PayPal account number or enter a major credit card number.

If you prefer to pay with a check or money order, proceed through the checkout to get the total of your order with the shipping costs, then you may print out the screen, then return to the shopping cart and "remove" the quantity. Email kristina@materialgirlsfabrics.com that you are sending a check and promptly place your payment in the mail. We cannot hold fabric. This option is only available to orders placed within the United States. Email orders with personal checks will process in 3 to 5 days of receipt of payment. By paying with personal check, you are accepting our policy on check acceptance (see check acceptance policy below).

All Loss/Damage Claims must be made/requested by the Customer to the USPS Claims.

EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS NOW AN OPTION TO MANY INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS. IF YOU REQUIRE EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING BUT YOUR LOCATION IS NOT AVAILABLE, EMAIL kristina@materialgirlsfabrics.com to communicate your request and we will try to accomodate your needs as quickly as possible.

CHECK ACCEPTANCE POLICY REQUIREMENTS: Our check acceptance policy is protected with CheckStar and requires a current driver's license number with state designation, a home and work telehone number with a physical address. Should a check be returned unpaid, the buyer authorizes Material Girls Fabrics and Checkstar to convert the paper check to electronic check and electronically redeposit the check to the buyer's account. The buyer also authorizes Material Girls Fabrics and Checkstar to collect (by the same process)a returned check fee as allowable by law. Maximum fee allowed by law will be added to all returned checks.

SHIPPING INFO: Free shipping is not applicable to closeout and sale prices. All fabric orders are shipped in plastic wrap for protection! Orders with 4 yds. or less or more than 13 ounces of cut fabric are usually shipped in the "Flat Rate" Priority Mail USPS envelope. The medium "Flat Rate" Priority USPS Box can usually hold up 18 yds of cut fabric or 6 jelly rolls! Now we can ship 21 to about 27 yards in the large "Flat Rate Box." Most prepaid orders will be shipped in 24 to 48 hours (unless we are at a quilt show). Special orders are sent out in 5 to 7 business days when in stock. Shipping is by USPS Priority mail with a First Class/Parcel Post Mail option, and is figured by weight and is insured for the cost of the order. If FIRST CLASS/Parcel is selected but PRIORITY IS MORE ECONOMICAL, the most economical method will be used. Each order is shipped insured and has a handling fee of $1.50. Both the insurance and handling fee is included in the Shipping amount in the checkout cart. If UPS shipping is necessary, please email us. Material Girls Fabrics refunds the overage on final shipping costs when there is an overage of $2.00 or more on REGULAR PRICED merchandise. Overage on shipping costs of $3.00 or more on SALE merchandise will be refunded at the discretion of Material Girls Fabrics. The overage will be refunded to you through PayPal within 7-10 business days. Any orders returned to Material Girls Fabrics as undeliverable, Material Girls Fabrics will issue a refund for merchandise ONLY after shipping fees for returns have been retained for the cost of the return shipping fees.

Rush orders will be shipped FedEx or Overnight with an additional express fee required. Expedited shipping is possible on an individual basis by request on in-stock merchandise and must be by request through email. Express/Overnight shipping requires a $10 handling fee.

Returns and Refund Policy:

We try very hard to represent our fabrics and products as accurately as possible. Colors of fabrics are represented as accurately as possible through photos and description. Computer monitors vary and therefore may not show the true colors. A swatch may be ordered through the "Floral" section.

All fabric and home decor items are inspected for quality before shipping. Returns/Refunds and/or exchanges must be approved by the owner before returned. Cut fabrics are non-returnable/non-refundable. Books and Patterns are non-refundable. Refund requests must be submitted via email within one week of receiving the merchandise. For questions regarding returns/refunds/exchanges, please contact Kristina Stephens, store owner, at the contact information listed. We will do our best to provide 100% satisfaction with every order. Domestic/International claims for damaged merchandise must be made by emailing Material Girls Fabrics first then filing a claim through the USPS International Claims process.

Texas residents are subject to an 8.25% sales tax.
